Saturday: It was fuuuun. My long childhood friends aka "cousins" came to town just for me! Awww! We ate at the Cheesecake Factory (I really enjoy that place!!), and later that night went to the Lion and the Rose for drinks. Most of my friends from school joined me there. Later on that evening, some of us went back to my apartment to watch Snatch and mellow out :P.
Sunday, my cousins, Alan, and I went to Jim's. That place is kind of like a Denny's meets IHOP. We had a wonderful waitress ^_^. Then, we went back home to watch some anime until they had to go back home. Ah, good times.
Next, this past weekend 10-24.
I went back home to Killeen on Friday (I only work 4 days, but 10 hours long =_=). It was nice and much needed to be with my mom, sister, and Mickey. Thursday, I had a really bad low, so I figured I need to change atmospheres. Fortunately, I had planned this trip for a while due to my mom's birthday on the 26th. So, Friday we didn't do much. I got to hang out for a bit, and we ate at my mom's favorite place: a chinese buffet called Yank Sing. Normally, I give her a hard time about eating at buffets but she had some troubling health news from her doctor...I still worry a lot about it, but my mom is so tough made it's ridiculous. So, I stfu and ate at the buffet :P.
Saturday, Mom made breakfast & dinner, and we went walking at the community center for an hour or more. Another easy-going day. I'm feeling much better.
Sunday, we went to the Round Rock Outlets. I bought my mom a gift set of some nice rose water scented body stuff from Crabtree & Evelyn for her birthday. She got me egg shaopao (the round and usually white bun stuffed with usually meat) because I'm a vegetarian, and bought me a new pair of Nike's so I may use them and lose weight. Thanks, Mom. Good lookin out! :P
I also bought myself a few pair of running pants and a shirt. Then, we ate at Chili's, hung out another hour at the outlets, and I went back to my adult life in San Antonio.
The only downer to busy SOCIAL weekends: homework rarely gets touched.
School-wise:
I'm doing alright. I'm improving slowly but surely in my drawing skills. The Textile class...I'm not taking anything away from that, and Merchandising is interesting.
Relationship-wise:
My long-awaited visit from my sweet and wonderful love has been put on hold again. Seems the school administration added two more tests to Dave's curriculum...but oh well!! We are now shooting for the first friday of December :). Good things come to those who wait ^_^. I'm a brat though...so I'm convincing him to stay with me until our 1 yr anniversary (for me it's Jan. 23rd). I hope he can :x
